PORTLAND, Maine – May 16, 2012 – Pika Energy was selected the winner of the Future Energy startup pitch competition held in Cambridge, MA on May 14, 2012. Future Energy is an event series sponsored by Shell and hosted by Ultra Light Startups. More than 100 regional clean energy entrepreneurs competed in the inaugural Boston event.
Pika Energy demonstrated the unique features of its T701 home wind turbine to the audience at Future Energy. These innovations include cost-saving processes for manufacturing the turbine blades and alternator.
